Rallies are a great resource for radio amateurs – a good place to meet other amateurs and pick up a bargain. On this site, we look at the various UK rallies, so you can decide which ones to visit. Here’s a look at one of the UK’s rallies:
Canvey Rally (Essex) Rally Information
This rally is run by the South Essex Amateur Radio Society (SEARS). It’s a popular, medium-sized rally on Canvey Island, in South Essex. It’s an indoor event, inside a local school.
- When: Annually, Usually February
- Admittance Price: £4 (2023) – pay on entering the building
- Location: Cornelius Vermuyden School, Dinant Ave, Canvey Island, Essex SS8 9QS
- Parking: Free, school car park. Can be busy at the start of the event. On-street parking nearby if car park is full
- Catering: On-site kitchen, with bacon or sausage rolls, tea/coffee
