there are two clubs near me

BRATS (Bredhurst Radio Amateur transmitting Society) website is https://www.brats-qth.org/
currently club meetings are via zoom, but they hold a club net on Thursdays at 8:00pm on 2m repeater GB3DA. All members and non-members are invited to call in and be the social part of our club

MARTS (Medway Amateur Receiving and Transmitting Society) website is http://www.marts.org.uk/
The club operates a morning net during weekdays from 0930hrs to about 1030hrs on 144.650Mhz with members from Canterbury, Mdway and Swale on the net most mornings. All are welcome to join the net.

another useful thing is if you are in Medway / Sheppey there is a simplex gateway into hubnet / echolink callsign MB7IOK see https://ukrepeater.net/my_repeater.php?id=4565 I often hear US and Australian stations on there chatting to UK stations, access is via 103.5hz CTCSS tone

feel free to add other clubs and useful things on this thread, hopefully pete can consolidate the most useful information into a pinned thread
