Hi all, I’m Alan from the North East and although I’ve had an interest in radio for many years, due to family commitments and the usual, lack of funds, I’ve not been able to join in, however, I’m now in a situation where I can, I’m going to visit a club next week and start to learn for my foundation licence.

if your local club have a long wait for the next foundation license course, have a look at https://www.essexham.co.uk/train/foundation-online/ they run a free online foundation course, Pete (M0PSX) who runs this site also runs essexham

they have an excellent pass rate, and i passed my foundation exam with them 4 years ago

still stay with your local club as well, as they can provide a lot of support and information
