Not sure if I am allowed to post this but desperate for help,
Hi new here looking for some help and guidance, my neighbour has 12 aerial on and around his very small property, back in 23 he built a very large motorized aerial next to my property that rotas over my workshop, and he put a dish on the front of his property,
My problem is I reported this to the council, he keeps stating you cannot touch me it’s not what you know it’s who you know, after a long 18 months of arguing with the council including my MP, the decision from the council was he is not breaking any rules, I have evidence the aerials included a second are less than 4 year old all I get back is, they have one Google photo showing my evidence, but there refuse to accept and say historically evidence, the dish on the front to me it’s a normal satellite dish the council state it’s a class 4 microwave dish this is a permitted installation,
I hope this post is permitted at my wits end, not sure if a photo of the dish is permitted.

as radio amateurs we do try and have good relationships with our neighbours, we are more used to having hams have issues with neighbours, than the neighbour coming to us

we do have a number of rules and regs we need to comply with, and some of these are dependant on local council planning rules (which from you original post and lack of action from the council they seems to comply with)

there are no rules that limit the total number of antenna a ham can deploy, so long as they comply with licensing conditions and planning rules hams can deploy as many as they like on their premises

it would help to know what you see as the issues?

          is it

          interference?
          sheer number of antenna?

how long have you lived next door to this neighbour?
can you give more information on the type of antennas, size etc

          regards
          Peter
