Radtel- RT-950 Pro and Bajeton BJ-9000 comparability

Quick heads-up for anyone using the Radtel RT-950 Pro or Bajeton BJ-9000 handhelds — they appear to be the same radio under different names!

I’ve just run the Radtel v0.20 firmware update on both my RT-950 Pro (which was on v0.17) and my Bajeton BJ-9000 (v0.18). Both took the update perfectly and now show Software Ver 0.20. No glitches, no lockups — they work exactly the same and talk to each other beautifully.

Looks like the two are identical inside, just different badges and price tags (the Bajeton’s a bit cheaper). The new firmware seems to give a cleaner TX audio and slightly sharper squelch action too.

So if you’ve got a BJ-9000 and can’t find official firmware, the Radtel files and CPS will do the job nicely — just back up your config first, as always.
